We are very proud to announce that Hercules Fence has won an Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Metro Washington and Virginia Chapter 2017 Excellence in Construction Award! We won the Specialty Construction division for our work on the FedEx Field Stadium Improvements project.
ABC Metro And ABC Virginia Host 36th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards
On September 14th, The Metro Washington and Virginia Chapters of ABC honored the winners of the 36th annual Excellence in Construction Awards at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, VA. The annual awards ceremony recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by Washington-area ABC members. The awards competition serves to raise the level of construction standards throughout the industry by recognizing the workmanship of those who contribute and by showcasing the results of their dedication.
ABC contractors entered more than 130 projects in categories including commercial/residential renovation, excavation/site preparation, heavy/industrial/transportation, institutional, medical renovation, specialty, and many more.
The competition’s judges were made up of a large panel of industry experts and professionals, including architects, owners, government officials, and other industry leaders around the Washington metro-area.
Debbie Livingston, president of ABC of Metro Washington, states that “To select the award winners, more than 100 judges reviewed the entry submittals and visited each project site. Projects were judged on complexity, unique challenges overcome, completion time, workmanship, innovation, cost, and safety.”
