The Norfolk Shop of Hercules Fence is home to a talented team that keeps the yard organized while producing high-quality gates and fence products.
Leading the shop is Juwan Thomas, an 18-year veteran of Hercules and former Navy gas turbine mechanic. Known for his precise organizational skills, Juwan always knows where every part is. Outside of work, he’s a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan with family in Tennessee.
Dewey Parrish is the shop’s welding expert, making 15 years with Hercules and boasting over 30 years in the fence industry. Dewey’s welding skills allow him to tackle numerous projects each week. He proudly shares a family connection to the inspiration behind John Denver’s “Mountain Mamma.”
The newest member, Andrew Potvin, has been with Hercules for a year and a half after serving four years in the Army. Working alongside Dewey, Andrew ensures every gate receives a clean polished finish and enjoys the hands-on nature of the job.
Kudos to the Norfolk team for their dedication and craftmanship in maintaining a productive and efficient shop!
After 10,000 successful jobs sold out of the 27 year old Manassas Park building, Hercules is expanding their facilities by adding over an additional acre of space and building a two story office. With the robust growth in the Northern Virginia area, Hercules is doing everything we can to keep up with the demand and make sure the team can grow accordingly to service this area and our loyal customers. Demo began last week with the front office coming down quickly, more updates to come.

Eight members of the Norfolk/Corporate staff participated on November 20 in the Norfolk Harbor 5k. Participants right to left were Kim Ellington, Kesha Rials, Louis Jason, Kathy Gianquitto, Gardys Reyes, Trenna Nees, Aime Stevenson and Jay Klebanoff.
The event benefited Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk.
Hercules Fence just completed the installation of temporary construction chain-link fence protecting the Newport news/Williamsburg international Airport in Newport News Virginia.
